Millions of Sardines

March 8,2011.Banning,California.We woke up early this day to find a news that Millions of Sardines and Anchovies were floating at the Redondo Beach's King Harbor.

For me, as an avid fish eater, was really excited but apprehensive to hear
and keep asking myself what happened?.A wild guess easily answered
my question by simply attributing it maybe to a red tide phenomenon. But laboratory tests made by the authorities turned out the fish meat were non- toxic caused by an Oxygen deprivation due to exhaustion for swimming along big waves and strong currents.
They said it was due to storm and bad weather. It was indeed
due to bad weather but unfortunately they were not able to foresee a worst
omen of having a turbulence underneath the Pacific ocean plates along
the east Asian side, particularly in Sendai, the northeastern part of Japan.

The exodus of Sardines could be a hint of a bigger disaster predicted
by them through their inherent body sensors and avoided it by swimming
far to the northwest side of the ocean.

That eventually led their exhaustion of Oxygen and caused their death
upon reaching the shorelines of southern ,California.

Relative to the above incident,we are now aware that in less than Seventy
two hours since it happened,an 8.9 magnitude earthquake and subsequently a ten meter high Tsunami hit the northeastern part of
Japan, particularly,Sendai and its neighboring cities of Natori,Kesennuma
and Iwaki.

For the victims,I would like to extend my deepest sympathy and condolences.

Till your next visit.Thank you
